OUR WIDE RANGE OF CLUBS ARE NOT CURRENTLY RUNNING DUE TO COVID. LOOK OUT FOR OUR EXCITING OFFER AS SOON AS WE ARE ABLE TO BEGIN AGAIN!
After school from Monday to Thursday, Mr Bainbridge, our specialist sports coach, delivers a range of sporting activities ranging from Rugby and dodgeball to multi sports.
The activities are reviewed termly in order for children to have opportunities to experience alternative sports. Activities are chosen in response to pupil demand and the time of year. They are usually open to pupils from Reception to Year 6. We have high hopes for developing Olympic champions of the future.
There is a rolling programme of sporting events each lunchtime in our new hall, run by Mr Bainbridge. We aim to promote physical activity for all pupils regardless of age and gender.
Every Thursday at 3.20 pm until 4.00 pm the choir meet with Miss Travis to practise singing a range of songs. The choir perform concerts both in school and at special events throughout the year. If you are feeling musical please let Miss Travis know.
Mrs McDowall offers pupils in Upper Key Stage 2 the opportunity to learn to play the guitar every Thursday evening. Guitars are available in school or pupils may bring their own and enjoy learning to play familiar tunes.
If you enjoy Maths and want to practise quick recall of your multiplication tables, as well as competing with pupils and teachers, why not join Mrs Mason’s Rock Star Club? This club meets every Thursday night until 4pm.
Key Stage 1 children enjoy joining Mrs Young in the Book Nook library every Friday after school. They enjoy sharing both fiction and non-fiction books and participate in a range of book related activities.
